About Imperfect Mirror
In 1997, I really thought that I’d received a call to ordained ministry. My parents, sensing that I might be wrong, didn’t let me follow through on it, pushing me to pursue my previously-intended engineering education instead. They were right, but I didn’t figure it out for another six years.
I find myself today still a committed member of the United Methodist Church; specifically, a lay congregant at Madison United Methodist Church in Madison, Alabama. Imperfect Mirror houses my religious thoughts, a log of my faith, as it were.
12Now all we can see of God is like a cloudy picture in a mirror. Later we will see him face to face. We don’t know everything, but then we will, just as God completely understands us.
